ACI’s two-day Kanban System Improvement (KSI) training explores how to maintain and maximize the momentum from successful Kanban implementation within a multi-teamed organization. This class builds upon the foundation established in Kanban System Design (KSD) training or your own existing Kanban knowledge. Students will consider what type of Kanban is most appropriate for their organization and how to effectively manage and evolve it over time. Students will also understand the Kanban Maturity Model, practical improvement techniques, and learn how to improve Agility with regular meeting and feedback cadences.
What You Will Learn
This course gives students the skills necessary for rollout and daily operation of a Kanban system. Topics include:
- Managing evolutionary change
- Dealing with resistance to change
- Feedback loops and continuous learning
- Introduction to the Kanban Maturity Model
- Implementing and scaling out Kanban
- Balancing demand and capability
- Optimizing flow and predictability
Certification
Upon completion of the class, students will receive a certificate of completion. In order to receive the Kanban Management Professional (KMP) credential, students must also complete the first course in the Kanban University foundations track: Kanban System Design (KSD).

Prior experience applying the Kanban method is recommended. Previous attendance at a Kanban System Design (KSD) class is preferred but not required.

Location
This is a live online (virtual) class. After registering, students will receive the Zoom weblink to join the training. We recommend that students download the Zoom web-based application prior to joining class.
Refund Policy
Participants who cancel less than 6 business days before the start of class, or do not attend class without prior written notice will forfeit their tuition. If a participant requests to reschedule their class within 6 business days, their tuition will not be refundable and a $200 administrative fee is required to enroll in a new session. Participants are eligible for a tuition refund only when requested more than 6 business days before class starts.
