Prerequisites

The first step toward becoming a Certified SAFe® Agilist (SA) is attending the Leading SAFe® 6.0 course. Attendance is required, as it provides access to study materials and the certification exam.

Recommended skills:

• 5+ years of experience in software development, testing, business analysis, product or project management

• Experience working in Scrum

• Exam name: SAFe® 6 Agilist Exam

• Format: Multiple choice

• Delivery: Web-based (single browser), closed book, timed, no outside assistance

• Access: Available through the SAFe Community Platform after course completion

• Duration: 90 minutes

• Number of questions: 45

• Passing score: 35 out of 45 (77%)

• Language: English

• Cost: First attempt included if taken within 30 days of course completion

• Retake fee: $50 per attempt

• Retake policy:

  • Second attempt: Immediate

  • Third attempt: 10-day wait
